The main administration of the Kulturstiftung Dessau-Wörlitz is based in Schloss Großkühnau in Dessau.

This is where all personnel, legal and fiscal matters are dealt with, the property is managed and the ongoing operations and activites are realised. Not only is the department for administration situated here, but also the department for palaces and collections, the library, the archive and the staff division for communication and service.

The departments for historic building preservation as well as garden and bodies of water are based in Wörlitz.
